Today I got a detention for standing up for what I believe in.
-
Teacher:
Write down 3 things you dislike about yourself
-
Me:
*sits there*
-
Teacher:
Ciara, why aren't you writing?
-
Me:
I can't do this. I will take a zero, sorry.
-
Teacher:
Why?
-
Me:
Because I refuse to promote self-hate. Because some people in the world can fill out 20 of these front and back with no blank spaces and this can trigger someone.
-
Teacher:
Ciara, you have to do it or I am sending you to the office.
-
Me:
Okay. *gets up and walks to office*

We wear clothes, and speak, and create civilizations, and believe we are more than wolves. But inside us there is a word we cannot pronounce and that is who we are.

One thing I dislike more than anything is when I create an idea and someone else copy’s it and claims it as there own. Just be original. Why steal???
Yes, I was infatuated with you; I am still. No one has ever heightened such a keen capacity of physical sensation in me. I cut you out because I couldn’t stand being a passing fancy. Before I give my body, I must give my thoughts, my mind, my dreams. And you weren’t having any of those.

Time isn’t precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time—past and future—the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is.
